Our Staff Members

Dr. Lora L. Brown – Medical Director

Lora L. Brown, MD, received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and has been a practicing physician for more than 20 years.

Dr. Brown is fellowship-trained at the Cleveland Clinic and is triple-board certified in pain management, with specializations in the minimally invasive treatment of pain, anti-aging and regenerative medicine.

She is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, a Diplomat of the American Board of International Pain Physicians, and a fellow of The Interventional Pain Physicians.

Dr. Brown oversees all medical services at Zi MedSpa to ensure they are provided by staff members who are properly licensed and trained, are in compliance with state and federal regulations, and meet our standards for the safety and quality of care for clients.

Trish Street, APRN

Trish began her love of aesthetics and fashion as a teenager. “I always found if I had a bad day that buying a new shade of lipstick would brighten my day!” After what must have been a string of bad days, she said, “I spend so much time here, I should work here.” So she did! She worked for 15 years in the cosmetic industry as a makeup artist. The best compliment she ever received was when a client couldn’t stop looking at themselves in the mirror. “It makes me so happy!”

After many years in the cosmetic industry, she decided to take a different path and went to nursing school. She graduated from Galen College of Nursing in 2013 and spent 7 years working in emergency medicine.

Trish also found critical care flight nursing fulfilling, transporting patients between countries and regions for care.

Always trying to push herself, Trish received her bachelor’s degree in nursing and also became a Board Certified Emergency Nurse.

Trish made the decision to continue her education and obtained her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She focused on her education and trained under Julie Horne, RN at the Swiss Aesthetic Institute in Lenzburg, Switzerland. Combining her love of medicine and aesthetics seemed like the logical next step. She is very excited to be back to her roots and helping her patients look and feel their best.

Denise Shadowens – Business Manager

Denise Shadowens (Crescentini) is a Tampa native. She has a large family in the area including her husband and 3 children.

Denise’s journey into aesthetic medicine began while working for a Tampa plastic surgeon. She loved the before and after transformations of the patients as well as the excitement they shared while planning and undergoing their chosen procedure.

Since that time, she has worked and managed medspas in Tampa, Lutz, and Wesley Chapel.

Denise believes that if you are unhappy with any aspect of your face or body, it affects your life. “Looking and feeling your best at every age is important to your overall quality of life. We will age but age gracefully and live your best life possible.”

She notes that Zi MedSpa is the culmination of a wide variety of aesthetic procedures/services where patients are sure to find more than one service that will give them their best outcome possible.

Lisa Nieto – Medical Aesthetician

From a young age, Lisa has had a combined passion for skin care and helping others look and feel beautiful. She performed mini facials and took pride in her hard work knowing each person left feeling relaxed, renewed, and confident. When friends opened a day spa and asked her to join them, that enabled her to live her dream of helping others feel beautiful in their own skin and sharing her passion to help clients achieve results.

With over 20 years of experience, her aesthetic philosophy is that every individual is authentic in their biochemical makeup, therefore no skincare regimen is the same. Lisa works to honor each client’s skin concerns according to their needs while celebrating what makes them unique. Whether it be facial techniques, product selection, waxing or eyelash enhancements, she has acquired the knowledge to ensure her clients have a personalized aesthetic experience.

She is happy to educate everyone on the correct methods and proper at-home care routine that allows them to achieve their skin care and beauty goals. Lisa takes immense pride in knowing that everyone leaves with a deep sense of serenity and confidence, ready to take on the world.

Henry Mosquera – SMP Artist

With over 25 years of dedicated service in the art of barbering, licensed in the state of Florida, Henry has become a true master of his craft. Honing his barbering skills to perfection have led him to understand his clients’ different hair aesthetics or desired looks and needs. This passion for staying up to date with the latest trends have pushed him to set himself apart in the industry.

Henry is skilled in the hair loss solution alternative known as SMP (scalp micropigmentation) for those individuals experiencing issues such as hair thinning, receding hairlines, scars of any kind (specifically FUT/FUE or any hair transplant scars), and baldness or bald areas due to different forms of alopecia conditions like Androgenetic alopecia.

He has dedicated the last two years to educating himself in the industry, acquiring multiple certifications, experience and licensing to be able to perform this specialized procedure for men and women.

His ultimate goal is to help clients achieve a realistic and natural looking result that restores confidence and provides the appearance of fuller hair or a full head of hair.

Johana Bejarano – Licensed Massage Therapist

Johana is a licensed and certified massage therapist who specializes in sports massage and deep tissue messages. She is a well-trained therapist with an extensive background and experience with soft tissue, sports massage, and rehab therapies. During your visit to our location, you’ll experience relaxation and comfort dedicated to your well-being and peace of mind.
