Acoustic Wave Therapy Cellulite Treatment

Reduce unwanted cellulite at Zi MedSpa

Cellulite refers to fat deposits that push through connective tissue beneath the skin, resulting in a dimpled or lumpy appearance. It is most commonly seen on the thighs and buttocks, and sometimes on the lower abdomen. Zi MedSpa offers acoustic wave therapy (AWT) to reduce cellulite and help you look and feel better.

How Acoustic Wave Therapy Works

First, you’ll meet with a trained and experienced technician who will assess the severity of your cellulite, identify target areas, discuss your goals and expectations, and determine the best treatment plan.

You will lie down in a comfortable position. Wear loose-fitting clothing that allows access to the area being treated.

The technician will clean the target area. Next, a gel will be applied that helps improve contact with the AWT device.

Next, the technician will use a handheld wand attached to a device that generates high-frequency acoustic waves. The wand will be slowly moved over the treatment area in a circular motion.

When the treatment is complete, you will be given aftercare instructions.
